By hiring local, quality instructors, El Padrecito Ministries has had a strong folkorico program for roughly ten years.  The group performs roughly 40 times a year on the Central Coast of California, at times also highlighting vocalists,  and has won a few prestigious awards at local parades. The program resumed in March 2021 in compliance with the CDC, along state and local recommendations.
